One month is short, which is its strength: it keeps you focused. The learners who get the most from it treat each week as a small project with its own finish line.
Set a goal for each week
Write one sentence at the start of every week: what should I be able to do by Friday? For example, "load and clean a dataset" or "build and test my first API route". Check it on Friday.
Use the Wednesday workshop
The workshop is the best place to apply what you learned. Before it, finish the week's lessons so far. During it, try the task yourself before looking at the solution. Afterwards, write down one thing that surprised you.
Take Fun Friday seriously
Fun Friday is a relaxed session, and it is also where you meet your batch. People you talk to now can become study partners, collaborators and a professional network later. Share what you built that week.
Come to the Saturday Placement Spotlight Session with questions
Each Saturday, people who got placed straight out of college share how they did it. Write down two questions beforehand: how they prepared, what they would do differently, what interviews asked. It is a direct line to people who were recently where you are.
Treat the weekly assignment as practice
Every week ends with an assignment. Do it the same day you finish the week's lessons, while the material is fresh, then use Sunday, your weekly off, to rest.
Start the capstone in week 1
Do not wait for week 4. Pick an idea early and let each week's lessons feed it. By week 4 you are polishing rather than starting.
Document as you go
Keep a short log: what you built, what broke and how you fixed it. Turn it into a README and, if you like, a short post. Hiring managers read these.
After the month
- Add the project to GitHub with a clear README.
- Put the program and your project on your resume and LinkedIn.
- Practise explaining your capstone in two minutes.
- Keep learning: access to the course resources continues after the program.
Make the first week count
Start with the AI internship or the MERN internship, and read how to prepare before it starts.
